What camera do you use?
For most of my YouTube videos I either film on a Canon T3i or my iPhone. Just depends on what type of content I’m filming. For blog photos almost all of them are snapped with my iPhone! But sometimes if I want a nicer quality photo I will use my 50mm 1.8 lens on my Canon T5.
Why do you eat gluten-free?
I got really really sick about two years ago, which led to a ton of testing (yay for colonoscopies in your twenties!) and the realization that I actually have quite a few food allergies. It was a total bummer, but I’ve since had to cut out gluten, most dairy, and oddly enough legumes with thick skins hahaha. ;)
Where do you shop for home decor and where do you get your interiors inspiration from?
We always try to thrift decor and furniture before heading into box stores. But what we can’t find thrifted, we typically purchase from IKEA, Wayfair, Walmart and Homesense. Plus! My mother-in-law is an interior decorator, so we benefit hugely from that haha. ;)
Are you related to Shailene Woodley?
I find this SO ODD! But I get tons of DM’s on Instagram as well as comments on YouTube asking if I am related to Shailene Woodley. Some people even think I am Shailene Woodley. This is a constant source of amusement for me (and I’m totally flattered!), but no, I am in no way related to Shailene. ;)
What hair products do you use?
I really should make a video dedicated to this question. I seriously get so many questions about my hair volume and texture. I’ll link it here once I do, but here’s a quick run-down in the meantime: I wash my hair about every 3-4 days with a sulfate-free shampoo. I only condition the very ends. Once a week I do a coconut oil hair mask (I make it myself) just on the ends of my hair. I use Batiste xxl dry shampoo in place of a texturizing spray, as well as for lift at the root. I also always use a Marc Anthony Argan Oil Mist on the ends of my hair after styling to keep it all smooth. And that’s it! Ish… lol.
